Spire Stress Tracker Review

Eliminate You Anxiety And Stress With The Spire Stone Stress Management Tracker

What is The Spire Stone?

spire stone stress management trackerWelcome to the spire stone review. Let’s first take a look at what The Spire Stone is.

The Spire Stone is a cool little device that will help you to drastically reduce your levels of…

  • Stress
  • Anxiety
  • Worry

…and increase your levels of…

  • Mood
  • Energy
  • Concentration

How Does The Spire Stone Stress Tracker Work?

spire stress tracker eviewThe Spire Stone is very easy to use. You just put the spire stone on the front of your waistband or inside of your bra and then you let the spire stone track your breath AND…

…guide you to a more relaxed, stress and anxiety free day.

It does this by tracking your breathing all day via the expansions of your lower belly and torso. In addition to this it also tracks your steps and calories.

The spire stone does not have a screen and you have to have a phone in order to use it (works for both Android or iOS).

The Spire Stone will let you know when you are about to get anxiety

That’s right. This little device will actually know that you are about to get anxiety even before you know.

How is this possible? Well, a few minutes before we experience anxiety we have already altered our breathing pattern…

…for the worse!

Because the Spire Stone is tracking your respiratory patterns it will instantly know when this is about to happen and will alert you by communicating to the app you have installed on your phone. It will also let you know by vibrating so that you can take action right away…

…BEFORE YOU GET ANXIETY.

The Spire Stone Stress Tracker will make you get to know yourself…
and  make a game of it!

The spire stone detects your breathing in real time which you can see if you look at the app while wearing the stone. Your breathing is then analyzed to determine in what “Zone” you’re in.

  • Calm
  • Tense
  • Active
  • Focused

spire stress tracker reviewThe Spire stone will collect the data and let you know how much time you spent in each of these zones and present it to you in the app on your phone. It will also give you a timeline so that you’ll know EXAKTLY when, during the day, you were tense, focused or relaxed.

Now you have got interesting data and if you, for example, spent a lot of time in the “tense” zone then you should try to lower your “tense score”.

This can be done by breathing correctly and, yes, the spire stone can help guide you with real-time feedback and instructions. You can create daily “goals” on how much time you want to spend in each zone and if you fail to achieve them the Spire Tracker can help you with, so called “boosts” which basically are guided instructions how to get there.

What else does the spire stone stress tracker do?

The device also tracks the  numbers of steps you take during the day and calculates how many calories you burn so it’s not just a stress tracker but an activity tracker as well. It will also keep track of how many minutes, or hours, you were active during the day and you will of course get the info on the app.

…however, the spire stone does not know what kind of activity you are doing. It has not got enough AI for that but it’s still pretty useful for tracking your activity if you care about calories, steps and the amount of time you were active. I do have to say though that it is with the stress tracking and anxiety tracking/preventing that this device really shines. There are indeed better activity trackers  on the market.

6-12 breaths per minute…
This is how we breathe when we are in a calm state

spire stone stress tracker reviewWhen the parasympathetic part of our nervous system is active we breathe in a rate of 6-12 breaths per minute. (the part of the nervous system that is responsible for “rest and digest” and the part that is active when we are calm and relaxed)…

…when being in this zone it is almost impossible for us to be anxious or stressed. The spire stone will help us achieve this state whenever we need it but not only that…

…by doing so over and over it actually teaches us how to be able to get into that relaxed, focused state. In other words we learn how to do it and with a little practice we can get there even without the stress tracker.

16-20 breaths per minute would put you in the “Focused zone”

However the tracker does not just count breaths because it is a bit more complicated than that. It also depends on HOW we do those number of breaths per minute and luckily the spire stone is programed to know the difference between very consistent breathing or fast and erratic breathing and so on…

18-20 breaths or more/minute in non exercise situations means you are in the “Tense and stressed zone”

By now you probably start to see where the timeline with the different zones can be useful and how we can benefit from knowing all this. The app makes it very easy to understand though and the and I think the app will also make the users really WANT to improve their scores.

Are there any research behind the Spire Stress Tracker?

Yes. Researchers at Stanford found that employees wearing Spire had a 37% more calm days and 27% fewer anxious days of stress and anxiety. In addition to this they spent 25% more time physiologically focused.

How long does the battery last and what happens if it gets wet?

The battery lasts an impressing 10 days on a single charge and the device is built to be able to handle water.

Are there any guarantees?

If you order The Muse Headband from Amazon you have got one month to return items for free for a full refund if you do not like the product. Gotta respect that.

Is The Spire Stone Stress Tracker Worth It?
Final Verdict

This is just my review of the spire stone and my opinion but I think that it is worth it.

Answer: Yes!

Why? Because breathing is THE core element of life. Breathing correctly is the most important thing we can do for our health. I would even go so far as to say that it is even more important than exercise and eating healthy. If our breathing is bad or tense…

…everything suffers…

…and I do mean everything! From our mental health (anxiety, stress, ADHD etc) to our physical health. Learning to breathe correctly is so important for our health and with that in mind I really think that having a device, such as The Spire Stone, that keep reminding us when and how to breath is invaluable.

So in conclusion

If your main focus is exercising and keeping advanced data from your exercise sessions then The Spire Stone is probably not for you. However when it comes to tracking your mind and reducing your stress and anxiety, then let me just say…

…for about the same price as a visit to a restaurant, one Wednesday evening, you get “The Spire Stone Stress Tracker”, a small little device that even doctors have started recommending to their patients. Investing that small amount of money into your health is something that you, in my opinion, can’t go wrong with.
